One Step Guide To Install Xposed Framework on Android Phone

Howdy Friends, Daily i am getting emails to publish a post of “Install xposed Framework or installer almost in every android mobile version”.
In this Guide, i will tell you to install Xposed installer in your android phone running in kitkat, lolipop, and marshmallow android version. To install this xposed installer, you must have rooted android phone, you can root your phone by kingroot app for android, kingo root for windows or google it.
With xposed installer, you will have full access to your android phone. You can change imei(Temporary), device id, google advertisement id, mac id and almost everything.
Excited, huh? Well go ahead to this guide and install xposed in your android phone. Before going to the main topic, you must know about what is xposed installer and its modules to use with?
Xposed Framework
Xposed Framework is an android application which is developed by Rovo89. Xposed is a framework for modules that can change the behavior of the system and apps without touching any APKs. It contains modules which we have to use with xposed framework. For ex, imei changer app, its not an app, it’s a module for xposed framework. Without xposed framework you cant change your android phone imei number with this imei changer app. Hope you understand the basic of xposed framework, lets go ahead and install xposed framework or xposed installer on you android phone.
While the official release of Xposed framework is not compatible with Android 5.1, an XDA member was able to create a version that worked with the latest release of Lollipop. Like before, installing Xposed framework on Android 5.1 will require a rooted Android device with a custom recovery like TWRP or CWM installed.

Basic Requirements For Xposed Framework:

  • You must have rooted phone – Google it For root
  • Custom recovery like CWM or TWRP (Mentioned Below)
  • Make a system Backup
  • Some computer knowledge

Step By Step Guide To Install Xposed framework ForJellybean and Kitkat users:

  • First, make sure you have enabled ‘Unknown Sources‘ option. You find it here in Settings –>Security –>Unknown sources and tick on Unknown Sources
  • Root your android phone as mentioned above
  • Now Simply Download This Xposed installer for jellybean and kitkat version Click Here
  • Open and Tap on Framework>Install/Update and authorize root by tapping on allow button, and finally a pop up will ask you to install framework, simply press yes button and your phone will restart within seconds.
  • After your phone started, You have succefully installed xposed framework in your android phone.
  • Now you can use all Modules associated with xposed Framework.

Step By Step Guide To Install Xposed framework For lollipop and Marshmallows android version:

  • This process is some how hard but simple if you want to do.
  • Firstly root your android phone as mentioned above
  • There are three different Processor for xposed framework, to check which xposed works for your phone simply download This Hardware Info App Click Here
  • Open and tap on Processor and note down your Processor as shown in below image
  • Check your phone android version in Hardware info app and note it down
  • Simply download these below files as per your processors ARMv7, ARM64, or x86 and android version
  • For Lolipop Android Version 5.0 to 5.0.2>>
  • For Lolipop Android Version 5.1 – 5.1.1>> 
  • For Marshmallow Android Version 6.0 to 6.0.1>>

  • Download Above .zip file as per your Android Version
  • Now Download and install this Xposed Installer app for all Marshmallow devices Click here
  • Now you need to install custom Recovery to flash these .zip files
  • Simply type keyword this in google TWRP for <Your android model verison> and search it, you will get search results to install custom recovery, you have to download twrp or cwm recovery depends on for your android phone.
  • You will get .img file to flash it on your android phone via pc.

Step to install custom CWM/TWRP recovery

  • download adb drivers and adb tools on your pc from here Adb Drivers | Adb Tools
  • Extract .zip file to dextop and open that extracted folder and press swift+mouse right click> open command window here
  • Copy your downloaded .img recovery file to this extracted folder and rename it to “recovery.img”
  • First enable USB debugging and OEM Unlock from setting>developer option ,To enable Developer Options, go to About phone and tap the Build Number 7 times.
  • Now type the following commands step by step as shown in below image
ADB DEVICES 
ADB REBOOT BOOTLOADER
FASTBOOT FLASH RECOVERY RECOVERY.IMG
FASTBOOT REBOOT 
  • Copy the above downloaded xposed .zip files to SD card and switch off your device. Now, open recovery mode by pressing and holding the Volume+, and power button at the same time until you enter into Recovery Mode. if recovery doesn’t open simplly google it with your model number by keyword enter recovery <your phone model number> and select your .zip xposed file and flash your xposed framework downloaded from above
  • After flasing .zip file, your will take 15-20 minutes for restart your phone, just hold on to start your phone
  • You have successfully installed Xposed framework on your android phone.
  • Open Xposed installer app>framework, you will as like below image
  • If you can’t see xposed version active, simply follow the steps again.
  • Enjoy!!

What should I do if my phone get into bootloop?

Sometime xposed installer wont work on some android phone and your phone will stuck on main boot screen, for solution Just uninstall the xposed framework from flashing the following files according to your device via custom recovery mode.
Now tap on reboot button, it will open normally.

How to activate Modules on Xposed Installer? :

  • Open Xposed Installer APP
  • Tap on Modules on a home screen of the app.
  • Tick Mark the apps/modules listed as your wish.
  • Reboot the phone to activate Modules.
